Pumpkins, Gourds, & Leaves...Oh my!

So Fall Break started last week ! Wahooo!!  Here is how it went:

Wednesday Night:

What is there to do in NoDak you ask?  Well, right now there is Papa's Pumpkin Patch!  I'm actually not much of a "pumpkin patch" kind-of-girl, but it was fun getting off of campus with friends.  The theme for us girls was plaid and riding boots.  Yeehaw, right? 😜 My bestie/roomie (broomie?) was adamant about taking "family photos."  Here are a few!

Thursday:

We went to the boys' soccer game as per usual! It was late and quite chilly. However, that didn't scare everyone away! People just bundled up and brought blankets.  At half time some bought warm drinks like hot chocolate and coffee to keep warm. I actually bought hand warmers to keeps hands nice and toasty.  Overall, it was a pretty intense game.  At one point, a guy on the other team kicked a soccer ball right into the stands! In the end, our boys tied 1-1! ⚽️ Go team!

Friday:

I went with my room mate and our friend on a day trip to Fargo! We went to the West Acres Mall and met our two other friends there! My Roomie was quite excited that the mall was bigger like the ones she was used to at home 😊

Saturday:

I had a lunch date with my cool cat sister! We went to Oahu, a Hawaiian sushi place. The dessert was especially delectable.  It consisted of a mochi mango ice cream ball atop creamy green tea ice cream with a dollop whipped cream sprinkled with crispy shredded sweet potato.

After, I went to see the last 30 minutes of the boys' soccer game. Our boys won at 2-1 !!!! Wahoooo! ⚽️

On the crafty side of things, I made myself a cute tie fleece blanket. 😁 

Sunday:

Sunday was a good day to start winding down. Everyone started coming back to school, so by dinner it was no longer as quiet and deserted as the days before.  I spent that day baking bread rolls to send to my lil bro for his birthday.  I also made extras for my friends and sister 😊. It was nice playing bakeress again for a bit!  Have a happy birthday lil guy 😉
