So Friday was my first Halloween away from homesies! :O It was definitely different being away from all the familiars, but that didn't stop me from having fun !
I didn't realize until now that college students don't always have much time to prepare for Halloween! A couple of my friends and I actually got our costumes the day of Halloween! We dressed up as animals! (Don't worry, mom, we weren't of the "party" species) ;D who knew a onesie and some makeup could make a solid costume?! I didn't until that Friday night!
We ran into our other friend who went as a lioness so of course we had to take another pic!

We ate wayyyy too much candy, so/but overall it was a great time!
Then this weekend I had brunch with the sis after Mass :) After finding that Denny's was PACKED, we decided to go to Kroll's, which is kinda like a German version of Denny's. Kroll's is really cool in that it has different German dishes along with the more regular dishes. I definitely recommend a bowl of creamy, steamy, delicious knoephla! It's a fantastic German soup full of little cooked pieces of chewy dough and potatoes!
Last week I was at Kroll's and had their yummy fried bread slathered with butter and some cinnamon sugar sprinkled on! I definitely recommend it :)
