Baby, It's Cold Outside!

Believe it or not, this picture was taken right from my campus. I hope I never get over the raw beauty of nature.

Over winter break I started to make a cowl for a good friend. Her birthday was coming up so I decided to put my crocheting to good use!

I was really happy with how it turned out! I used the double crochet stitch to make the cream cowl. Then I weaved the multi-colored feather yarn through the double crochet stitches.

Tada!

the DEETS:

- Used Caron med weight yarn.
- Chained about 70 then connected the end of the chain to the beginning of the chain.
- Continued to double crochet in the round until I ran out of yarn.
- Used Red Heart Boutique: Sashay yarn to weave through the double crochet stitching.  I weaved over and under every three stitches.

Until next time!
